David Oshige Adams David is moments away from completing his Licenciatura at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. His thesis-- a study of the pre-Classic pottery from the 1970s excavations at Pukara-- will be a very valuable contribution to the prehistory of the Basin. In 2006, he was a member of the mobile GIS mapping crew at Pukara and in 2009 directed excavations/documentation at the Lagunita Mound in the site's central district. |

Honorato Tacca Honorato is a maestro (expert) excavator and field archaeologist who worked with our project in 2001, 2002, and 2006. His earliest field experience at Pukara was working on the Plan Copesco project of the 1970s and he has much valuable information to share. Honorato is also an experienced pottery; he and Klarich co-authored a paper on modern pottery production in the area for the American Anthropological Association meetings in 2006. |

Matthew Warwick Matthew is finishing up his PhD at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee, which is a study of the faunal remains (animal bones) from both the 2001 excavations at Pukara and another nearby Formative period site. His contributions to understanding prehistoric diet, herding, and other related issues are very valuable to our long-term efforts at Pukara. |

Matthew Wilhelm Matt joined the mobile GIS survey in 2006 and also assisted with the processing of soil samples in the freezing cold Rio Pucara. He is a professional computer technologist and on the project is in charge of data management, computer maintenance, and anything important that involves batteries and project data. In 2009, Matt was rarely seen without a Total Station nearby. |
